After working for many years in the retail sector, I decided to head in a new direction and follow my hobbies in fitness. After taking up yoga 5 years ago (starting with just 10 mins each morning) I enjoyed it so much I decided to become a teacher! I really enjoyed my journey to become a yoga teacher, so much so that I branched out further and trained to be a Pilates teacher.
Learning different aspects of the fitness industry then became more than a hobby! I completed an Active IQ level 2 in Gym Instructing followed by a Level 3 award in Nutrition for Exercise and Health.
Following on from this I wanted do develop my knowledge further, so I successfully completed an Active IQ Level 3 in Diploma in Personal Training.
It has been a long hard graft, but I have loved every minute of it, and met some brilliant people.
I love health and fitness, I have an active lifestyle walking my dog and running. I also enjoy my life by having a balance. I love going out for meals and I enjoy my food and wine very much!!
I am currently studying to become a Level 4 teacher in Freestyle Fitness Yoga, this is a great style of yoga for all round fitness.
